Shot on a return visit to Alderney in 2025, Everything That Fades explores the quiet collapse of memory — personal and historical. As my parents decline, one into dementia and the other resisting urgent medical care, I retrace the landscapes of my youth: Roman ruins, Nazi bunkers, rusting outposts, all slowly yielding to nature and time.
